Instrumentation

The FTIR program at MLO began in 1991 operated by the Atmospheric Spectroscopy group at the Univ. of Denver. The initial instrument was a BomemDA03 then was replaced in August 1995 by a Bruker 120HR. This early start makes this data record one of the longest FTIR records in the NDACC. In 2010 the NCAR OT group began operating the research program and in 2011 the instrument was refurbished and upgraded to the NDACC standard Bruker 125HR instrument shown below.
