RCP8.5-FINN for 2002-2015 (monthly, 2deg)

  • Anthropogenic emissions are from the RCP8.5 scenario (Detlef P. van Vuuren & James A. Edmonds & Mikiko Kainuma & Keywan Riahi & John Weyant, A special issue on the RCPs, Climatic Change, 109, 1-4, 2011), as provided on the ECCAD-Ether website (http://eccad.sedoo.fr/). RCP8.5 is used because that is what the MACCity inventory is based on.
  • Fire emissions are from FINN (Fire INventory of NCAR, Wiedinmyer et al., GMD, 2011 (http://www.geosci-model-dev.net/4/625/2011/gmd-4-625-2011.html).
  • Additional types of emissions (biogenic, ocean, soil) are from the CCMI inventory (2000 repeated each year).
  • For compounds with biogenic emissions, a copy of the file is included without biogenic emissions to be used when running with online MEGAN emissions (labeled "woBiog").
