Gabi Pfister promoted to Senior Scientist

Please join ACOM in congratulating our Acting Director on her promotion! The NCAR Directorate are pleased to announce that at its virtual June 2020 meeting the UCAR Board of Trustees approved the promotion of NCAR Ladder-Track scientist Gabriele Pfister to Senior Scientist. Gabi's biography includes her doctorate in geophysics (2000) at the Karl-Franzens University in Graz, Austria, a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) in New Zealand, and joining NCAR in 2002 as a Fellow.
