Zhen’s visit will focus on the use of MOPITT, along with other satellite observations in estimating pollution emissions by source sectors. These emissions estimates are critical for understanding air quality evolution and prediction, a primary ACOM objective. ACOM can provide the expertise in assimilating satellite data, especially MOPITT.
