Stephen Arnold

Steve is collaborating with ACOM on the analysis of ocean emissions of OVOCs.  Steve has created an emissions model for acetone in CAM-chem and will compare with the work Siyuan Wang and Lizzy Asher are doing on ocean emissions in CESM.  Comparisons of the model results will be made to ship measurements and the TOGA observations during ATom and other campaigns.  We will also discuss further work related to planned Arctic research (IGAC/PACES, etc.), such as the use of satellite data to study transport of pollution into the Arctic.
