Lorenzo Polvani

Dr. Lorenzo Polvani will be involved in analyzing the WACCM model runs that were produced as part of the Chemistry Climate Model initiative, as well as the vast model output generated by the CESM Large Ensemble project.  On the stratospheric side, he will be studying past and future changes in stratospheric temperatures and the Brewer-Dobson circulation.  On the tropospheric side, he is interested in understanding drivers tropical expansion and polar amplification.
