Hilde Nesse Tyssoey

Hilde will work with ACOM to study the effects of energetic electron precipitation (EEP) on the atmosphere. She will take EEP rates determined from satellite observations and implement them in NCAR's Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model (WACCM) to better understand their effects on odd-nitrogen species, ozone and links to the dynamics of the middle and lower atmosphere.
