Chandrakala Bharali

As part of her postdoctoral research, Chandrakala Bharali will investigate the impact of aerosol and boundary layer interactions on air quality and fog events over the Indo-Gangetic plains. She will use the WRF-Chem model to conduct high resolution simulations of haze and fog events analyzing the gas, aerosol, and cloud chemistry as well as pH of the aerosols and cloud water. Chandrakala will visit for 9 months on a Fulbright-Kalam award.
