On August 25, 2021, ACOM scientists David Edwards and Helen Worden gave a presentation on satellites and air quality as part of the NCAR Explorer Series of scientific presentations for a general audience. The talk described how satellites detect atmospheric chemicals from outer space, what chemical compounds are harmful to human health, and the role of wildfires in air quality.
