| Abstract | High quality VOC measurements were obtained for ASIA-AQ from the NSF NCAR TOGA-TOF and the UCI WAS teams. These measurements were used to determine the OH reactivity in the four ASIA-AQ study regions. A box model was used to help elucidate if there were missing species in the analyses of OH reactivity. Based on the measurements, the emission inventories need updates for a number of specific species; discrepancies were found with methanol, ethanol, propane, and toluene; others are under investigation. Modeled NMVOC OH reactivity matches the measurements reasonably well |
