Dr. Mary Barth conducts research focused on the interactions between clouds and chemistry using cloud-scale and regional-scale modeling and observations from field experiments. Dr. Barth is one of the leaders of the Multiscale Infrastructure for Chemistry and Aerosols (MUSICA) project in NCAR/ACOM. The MUSICA Project is creating infrastructure for representing chemistry in any atmosphere model (i.e., model independent chemistry representation), including global models with variable grid resolutions.
