Community Workshop
When: March 30, 31 and April 1, 2015
Location: UCAR/NCAR Center Green, Building 1 - 3090 Center Green Court, Boulder, CO.
Description:
A workshop, open to the University community, was held to:
- Develop a sense of community among University and NCAR scientists engaged in in situ atmospheric chemistry research, and related activities.
- Develop a community consensus regarding the most important science questions that can be answered via in situ atmospheric chemistry research, and activities that can be conducted or planned to address these questions (e.g., field and lab campaigns, instrument development projects, plans for long-and short-term development of facilities).
- Obtain community input into ACOM’s role in answering these questions.
- Inform the community (particularly early-career scientists) on the process involved in proposing large field programs, and the requestable resources available to them.
