Paola Crippa

The 2015 El Nno has been extremely strong and the friving force behind the conditions that have led to an extreme fire season in Indonesia during the Fall 2015. Dr. Crippa and Christine Wiedinmyer are working on a modeling study investigation the atmospheric impacts from the fires in the region. Dr. Crippa will be using WRF-Chem to simulate the chemical and physical impacts of the fire emissions. She will work with Dr. Wiedinmyer and othes in ACOM to analyze the results and write a manuscript.
